Reviewer Guideline
The International Journal of Scientific Research and Education (IJSRE) is committed to the advancement of science and education and to the quality of the research published in the journal. As a reviewer for IJSRE, you play a critical role in this effort by providing constructive and impartial feedback to authors.
The following guidelines are provided to help you perform your review in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Review the manuscript in a timely and professional manner
- Provide a fair, objective, and constructive evaluation of the manuscript
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the research, as well as any ethical or scientific issues that may need to be addressed
- Provide recommendations to the authors and to the editorial team regarding the publication of the manuscript
Evaluation Criteria:
- Originality: Is the research novel and does it contribute to the advancement of science and education?
- Significance: Is the research important and relevant to the field?
- Quality: Is the research well-conducted, well-reported, and well-supported by the available evidence?
- Ethics: Does the research comply with ethical standards and does it respect the rights of human subjects or animals?
Review Process:
- Carefully read and evaluate the manuscript, taking into account the evaluation criteria described above
- Provide a detailed and constructive review of the manuscript, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the research
- Identify any ethical or scientific issues that may need to be addressed and provide recommendations to the authors and to the editorial team
- Submit your review to the editorial team within the specified timeframe
Confidentiality:
As a reviewer for IJSRE, you are bound by a duty of confidentiality and are expected to maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript and the identities of the authors. You should not share or discuss the manuscript with anyone outside of the review process, or use the information or ideas contained in the manuscript for your own purposes.
Conflict of Interest:
If you have a conflict of interest with the authors or the research, you should inform the editorial team immediately and recuse yourself from the review process. A conflict of interest may arise, for example, if you have collaborated with the authors, have a financial interest in the research, or have a personal or professional relationship with the authors.
