Abstract

Many a times, clinicians require objective evidence to support their clinical diagnosis or to decide on medical line of treatment in addition to presenting signs and symptoms. X-ray is vital for patients seeking primary and emergency care for tuberculosis, pneumonia, trauma, and other respiratory and abdominal diseases. Even though x-ray is essential diagnostic service, very few studies from developing countries have discussed it. Therefore this paper attempts to study status of x-ray equipment in public hospitals, India.
