ABSTRACT

Introduction: All invasive procedure involves contact between a medical device and a patient sterile tissue. A major risk of all such procedures is the introduction of pathogenic microbes that could lead to infection. According to the Global Forcast report sterilization and disinfection are essential to interrupt the chain of infection as well as limit the outbreak of transmissible infections in hospital setting.
