Semantic analysis of valuation-descriptive predicates
Semantic analysis of valuation-descriptive predicates
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article discusses one of the lexical-semantic groups which characterize predicates evaluatively.
Differences from other lexical-semantic groups of estimated-characterizing predicates are expressed not by verbs as informative predicates, but by adverbs “Ñхши-good†and “ёмон-bad.†Having analyzed the semantic structure in the examples, they determined that the adverb does not have an adjective attribution denoted in the lexical content of the sign.
However, in the role of a predicate, the adverb receives an implicit, not structurally expressed, subject relatedness, since outside the category of a person, the category of predicativeness is not realized. The subject in such adverbial predicate is the speaker - the author of direct or indirect speech.
