Abstract
A graceful menopause is right of every woman. As the reproductive hormones having subtle and vital roles
in the body start depleting, imbalances in body, mind, emotions and senses begins. Along with these, long
term health risks like osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases and stroke etc also increase many folds. For the
smooth transition from reproductive life to menopause, an effective treatment protocol is needed which can
help in maintaining hormonal levels and help to alleviate the symptoms. Ayurveda can help the women to
enter the menopause with perspective and well preparation by providing the alternative approach that
embodies balance, contentment and nourishment.
