Differential Attitude of Student Teachers Towards Teaching Profession

The study was undertaken with a view to study the attitudinal change as a result of the learning experiences provided to the students of education during B.Ed., course. 100 student teachers were included in the sample and simple random sampling technique was employed for the data collection. A four point attitude scale was used and the entry and exit attitude of the students was measured and found marginal difference. Female teachers attitude is favorable to the teaching profession and there is a need to design result oriented activities to bring quality in teacher education and thereby to bring out better attitudinal changes among the student teachers.
